2nd - Bobby (LAW Brighton)
3rd - Quyen (LAW London)

Juniors:

1st - Alex (LAW Brighton)
2nd - Jack (LAW Brighton)
3rd - Billy (LAW Brighton)

A wonderful crisp Autumn day attracted a good response to our annual Winter Games. Both LAW clubs fielded their best wrestlers to our annual friendly tournament. A public participant, Goodwin fought his way through his matches and Penny from Rustington had a few hard matches too.

The main tension was mainly the clash between the LAW London and LAW Brighton. LAW Brighton ended up with more medals than LAW London!

The event finished on time and the South East Asian food was served. After food, the medal ceremony saw our squad members pick up their awards for both Rustington and British Novice events.

Aaron, club secretary welcomed everyone and thanked individuals before inviting Jek to give the year's report on the club's standing and end of year accounts. Special mentions went to Nick, our new Ukraine coach and Allison. Our club also thanked John Savage MBE taking the time to join us and to bring the fantastic news that the southern region has successfuly won the promise from Sports England to fund a purpose built wrestling centre of excellence at Queens college in Twickenham. As has become traditional: we ended the event with our competitive game of charade.

Fantastic event enjoyed by all. Hope you all enjoyed our wrestling practice over the year and we hope to see you all next year!
